  • Stress Defense is a warming, full-bodied herbal tea blend crafted with nine certified organic botanicals chosen for their rich herbal traditions, complex flavors, and the quiet, grounding experience they create together. Earthy and aromatic, with a natural sweetness, a hint of soft citrus, and layers of floral warmth, this blend was thoughtfully composed for the moments when you want to slow down, take some time for yourself, and step away from the noise.

Every ingredient is certified organic. Every sip is intentional.

Available in 1 oz, 2 oz, and 4 oz resealable bags to keep your blend fresh.

  • Ginger Root* Warming and bold, ginger root anchors this blend with its signature spice and depth. Long celebrated in herbal traditions across cultures, ginger is one of the most well documented botanicals in the world and brings a lively, invigorating character that balances beautifully against the softer herbs in this blend.

Licorice Root* Naturally sweet and gently round, licorice root softens the edges of stronger flavors and adds a smooth, lingering sweetness without any added sugar. It has been used in herbal preparations for centuries and contributes a full, comforting body to the cup.

Tulsi (Holy Basil)* Revered in Ayurvedic tradition for thousands of years, tulsi, also known as Holy Basil, is considered one of the most sacred plants in India. Aromatic and slightly peppery with a hint of clove, it adds an herbal complexity to this blend that is distinctly its own. Treasured by herbal enthusiasts and tea drinkers around the world for the grounded, centered feeling it tends to accompany.

Lemon Verbena* Bright, clean, and unmistakably fresh, lemon verbena contributes a soft citrus note that feels both lifted and soothing. One of the most aromatic herbs in the world, it brings a quiet clarity to what might otherwise be a very earthy cup. Present enough to notice, gentle enough to let the other herbs shine.

Lemongrass* Light and subtly lemony with a gentle grassy quality, lemongrass weaves a soft citrus thread through the blend without taking center stage. It pairs naturally with the spice and florals, helping unify the flavor profile into something cohesive and easy to love.

Passionflower* Delicate and soft, passionflower is a beautiful flowering vine long valued in Western herbalism and folk traditions for its gentle, calming presence. It is one of the most recognized botanicals in the world of relaxation focused herbalism and contributes a subtle, almost honeyed floral quality to the cup.

Wood Betony* A lesser known gem in the Western herbal tradition, wood betony has a long and respected history in European folk herbalism, where it was considered one of the most important plants in the apothecary garden. It has a mild, slightly earthy character and blends quietly into this formula while contributing its own grounding depth.

Chamomile* Chamomile needs little introduction. Floral, warm, and reminiscent of sweet apples, it softens this blend into something that feels familiar and comforting from the very first sip. A timeless classic for a reason.

Lavender* Aromatic, floral, and unmistakable, a small touch of organic lavender goes a long way in rounding out this blend with a soothing, warm finish that gives the overall cup a refined, balanced, aromatic character.

  • Hot: Bring fresh water to a full boil and steep 1 teaspoon per 8 oz for 5 to 20 minutes. A shorter steep delivers a lighter, more delicate experience where the ginger and lemon verbena come forward gently. A longer steep brings out the full depth of the blend, with the floral warmth and natural sweetness coming into their own and the licorice rounding everything out beautifully. Adjust the amount to taste. 1 teaspoon is a great starting point and you can always add a little more to suit your preference.

If you have a Dr. Kit Fox tea straw, you can sip directly from your cup once cool enough to drink and let the blend keep steeping as you go. Add more hot water at the end for a lighter second round.

Cold brew (overnight): Add 1 teaspoon per 8 oz of cold water to a jar or pitcher, stir gently, cover, and refrigerate for at least 6 to 8 hours or overnight. The result is a smooth, naturally sweet and floral cold brew with a gentle warmth from the ginger that makes it just as comforting cold as it is hot. The herbs can stay in the jar as you drink from it over the next 3 to 5 days and the flavor will continue to develop and deepen as it sits.

Cold brew (quick): Brew a strong concentrate using 2 teaspoons per 8 oz of boiling water, steep for 15 to 20 minutes, strain, then pour directly over a full glass of ice. The ice chills and dilutes it to the perfect drinking strength right away.

This blend is naturally caffeine free and can be enjoyed any time of day. Try it with a drizzle of honey or a splash of your preferred milk for an entirely different experience.

  • 1 oz — $12 Yields approximately 26 cups at 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. A great way to get acquainted with a new blend. Worth noting that the herbs in Stress Defense are naturally light and voluminous, so this bag will feel surprisingly full once sealed.

2 oz — $22 Yields approximately 52 cups. A solid supply for the blend that is becoming a regular part of your day.

4 oz — $40 Yields approximately 104 cups. For when you already know. Stock up and enjoy for months to come.

Brewing yield is based on 1 level teaspoon per 8 oz and will vary based on personal preference and steep strength.

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep the bag sealed between uses to preserve freshness and aroma. Best enjoyed within 12 to 18 months of purchase.
